I have just returned from a Christian retreat that I badly needed. Alas everything went wrong from the hotel room to my mechanical wheelchair and I missed most of the worship opportunities. Instead I was disappointed by the women from my church who constantly dredged up the past and told off-color stories no matter how hard I tried to redirect their talk. My life as a shut-in is hard. This was my first retreat in six years and I feel let down and very depressed. Please pray that I will be able to remember details of the excellent workshops I attended and not the trash!!!	?	*11/18/08*
UPDATE: My friend Tracy had her cardiac catheterization after being rushed back to hospital by ambulance yesterday and they found 70% blockage of coronary artery and they placed stint . When I saw her late this afternoon in recovery she was doing well and B/P had stabilized and returned almost to normal. Praise the Lord He is doing marvelous things through the prayer ministry of this room. Thank you all so much but please keep prayers coming as she is still having severe headaches. UPDATE: Harold began classes on Monday to get his insurance sales license. After the classes, he will need to go to Lansing and pass the main test. If he does, he will begin working for this company on December 1st. It is a 100% commission job, no insurance or benefits, but he feels very confidant that he can make a go of it. Please, pray that he does and that we can make our payments in the meantime. I also need more 'faith' that our medical needs can be covered on a job without insurance. I am also still praying for a strong sense of 'confirmation' on this job. Thanks for your prayers.	*Shep & Harold*	*11/18/08*
My son would like anyone to pray that he would get either a job or disability very soon, so he can provide for his family. He does not qualify for unemployment. His wife works, but it's not nearly enough. Thanks	*TrishaJoy*	*11/16/08*

Please pray for my great nephew who was to be shipped or flown out to Kuwait yesterday for military deployment to Iraq in near future . He was stationed in Hawaii and Tuesday night was walking back to base when Hawaiian citizens jumped him and beat him up badly. They broke his jaw in 3 places and his cheek bone and gave him concussion. The commanding officer that notified my niece, his Mom, said there are a lot of people that do not like are military there. To know that I have been so sick, but knowing in my heart, that each, and everyone of you, have been praying for me, and thinking of me, has meant more than you can even imagine.
